The Dighton Stormwater Committee recorded three formal outcomes on July 21: a conditional administrative approval for a stormwater tie‑in at 620 Spring Street, a denial of a waiver request for a federal SWIP for Horton Street lots with instruction to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) to EPA, and approval of the June 17 meeting minutes.
Chair Nancy Gulot read motions and called votes. On the 620 Spring Street matter the committee voted to "tentatively approve the request to tie into the town's existing drainage system pending Planning Board and Conservation Commission approval." On the Horton Street SWIP request the motion read in part: "notify Mr. Luongo that the committee denied the request to waive the requirement for a SWIP and advise him to contact the EPA regarding notice of intent permit application." Both actions were carried by voice vote. The committee also unanimously approved the minutes and set the next meeting for Aug. 19, 2026.
