Frostburg to honor Mountain Ridge girls state track champions at next council meeting

Chair opened the June work session by announcing the council will invite members of the Mountain Ridge girls track and field team, state champions on Memorial Day, to next week's council meeting for a city citation. "They've been invited to the council meeting next week to receive a citation from the city," the Chair said.
Council members noted the timing coincides with the end of the school year and the coach said he will bring "as many of them here as they can." The recognition will be scheduled on the public agenda so the council can present the citation at the next meeting.
