The presentation named several community partners and consultants, including the Musical Instrument Foundation, Kids Club of Cherokee County, and consultants Melissa Yazzie and Janao Noel with VeriCPA.
Supporters argued APA would expand local arts opportunities and could help retain students who might otherwise enroll elsewhere. Board members pressed for more detail on how the charter would affect district finances, special‑education services and transportation.
