Mayor Weller called the Kadoka City Council special meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. on March 16, 2026. Council member Ryan Willert moved "to approve the agenda," a motion seconded by Eileen Stolley and adopted unanimously, 5-0.
Council member Paula Holley then moved "to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters" under SDCL 1-25-2(2); Stolley seconded and the council voted to enter executive session at 5:05 p.m. The council asked Finance Officer LaTasha Buchholz and Patrick Solon to remain for the executive session. The record shows the council exited executive session at 5:15 p.m. and explicitly notes that no action was taken.
With no further business recorded, Stolley moved to adjourn (Motion 26-03-16:35); Chris Grillo seconded, the motion carried 5-0, and the meeting was adjourned at 5:16 p.m. Tim Huffman was noted as absent for the meeting. The meeting minutes were signed by the Finance Officer and the Mayor and were published once at stated cost.
