Kimball council approves financial report, payroll and monthly bills; lists major payments

Finance Officer Lydia Morley presented the financial report at the Feb. 5 meeting and told the council that sales tax receipts were up a little. By roll call vote the council approved the financial report and then approved payment of the month’s bills by separate motion.
The minutes list several larger payments in the disbursement schedule including Lenz Agency ($55,294.00), Heath Lumber ($47,096.00) and Banner and Associates ($41,175.09). Payroll totals recorded in the minutes include several department amounts (example: Library payroll $1,962.58; Street payroll $5,567.76; Police payroll $3,774.50).
