Council confirms multiple appointments and reappointments to city boards

Councilmember Shane Suttor moved to reappoint Dory Lewis to the Tourism Commission (3-year term to expire June 30, 2029), Val Owens to the Code Enforcement Board (3-year term to expire June 30, 2029), Rachel Wells and Julie Mulcahy to the Historic District Commission (3-year terms to expire June 30, 2029), and Val Owens to the Water and Sewer Commission (3-year term to expire June 30, 2029). Councilmember Frank Page seconded the motion and all present voted “aye.”
Separately, Councilmember Sally Zaring moved to approve the joint appointment of Autum Nethery to the Tourism Commission (3-year term to expire June 30, 2029); Councilmember Pam Carter seconded. The motion carried; Councilmember Tom Hardesty was absent for the vote.
