The Henry Hudson Regional Board publicly honored several long‑serving employees at its June 10 meeting. Retirees recognized included Joan Manigrasso (31 years), Scott Isaacs (31 years), Christine Golembiewski (28 years), Michael Manigrasso (25 years) and Kathleen Noland (22 years). The board recorded motions to acknowledge their service and authorized payment of unused sick‑time per contract terms for eligible retirees.
The meeting also named Students of the Month and Staff Members of the Month across district schools: Highlands Student of the Month (Miles Gauntt), Atlantic Highlands Student of the Month (Juliet Tidswell), HHRS Student of the Month (Makayla Meyers) and HHRS Artist and Athlete of the Month (Savannah Savas and Ethan Hartsgrove). Superintendent Dr. Tara Beams publicly thanked the Henry Hudson Tridistrict Education Foundation (HHTDEF) for 12 years of support and noted the foundation will be sunsetting after a long record of contributions to STEAM and other programs.
Why it matters: Recognitions and retirement payments are routine public actions that document long service, preserve institutional memory and inform the community who will be leaving district employment before the new school year.
Provenance: Retiree recognitions and student/staff announcements at SEG 034–037; Superintendent thanks to HHTDEF at SEG 025.
