Airway Heights council reappoints two commissioners, maintains committee assignments

Council voted to reappoint Pleasance Jones (planning commission) and Mikaela Daniels (arts commission) to new terms that expire Jan. 31, and also voted to maintain the council's committee-assignment list for the upcoming year.
Assistant/Staff Becker asked council to confirm the annual committee assignments and said the two commissioners had served well. "Tonight, we are requesting reappointment for 2 separate commission members, Pleasance Jones, the planning commission, and Mikaela Daniels of the arts commission," Becker said. The council moved and approved the reappointments and a motion to keep the committee assignments as they are.
Staff said an application for the arts commission vacancy will be presented soon and that there will be one or two planning commission applications to fill a vacancy; no further action was required at the meeting.
