North Bonneville approves 1% ad valorem tax increase for 2026

The North Bonneville City Council held a public hearing on the Ad Valorem tax proposal and voted to set the 2026 levy at a one-percent increase from the previous year. Mayor Brian Sabo described the proposed change as "a one percent increase in the regular property tax levy amount for the previous year," and no members of the public asked questions during the hearing.
Following the hearing, Councilmember Joshua Good moved to adopt Resolution #591 and Ordinance #1173 to implement the levy increase; both measures were seconded by Terry Norris and carried with Norris, Good and Lee voting in favor. The council recorded the approvals as the formal action to set the 2026 property tax levy.
