Treasurer Michelle Longville told the Kingsbury County Board of Equalization that the county had received 107 applications for the senior/disabled property tax freeze. She reported that 98 applications qualified, seven were denied and two remained pending as of the April 15 meeting.
Troy Nelson moved to approve the qualifying senior freeze applications and Corey Lundquist seconded the motion; the motion passed with all present voting aye. The board also granted the Treasurer until Friday, April 17, 2026, to complete review of the two pending applications; any applicants not submitted by that date but later found to qualify would be abated in January of the next tax cycle, per the board’s consent approval recorded in the minutes.
