Jenny Hammrich, Clerk of Courts Administrator, and Jennifer Malone, Clerk of Courts, presented a $34,633.85 estimate from Forte to replace the courtroom sound system. Hammrich told the Board that the Unified Judicial System would contribute $10,000 and that the countyLaw Library fund holds $13,285 that could be applied toward the project, leaving a county contribution of $11,633.85.
On a motion by Commissioner Steve Spilde, seconded by Commissioner Corey Lundquist, the Board approved the estimate and the funding plan. The Board directed county staff to proceed with the purchase and installation under the funding arrangement described.
The approval upgrades courtroom audio equipment used for hearings and public proceedings; procurement and installation details will be managed by the Clerk of Courts' office.
