Caryn Hojer, the countyIT coordinator, told the Board that Kingsbury County's website needs significant updates to meet ADA accessibility standards and recommended contracting with a website-building company to create a new, compliant site.
"It would be best to hire a website building company to build a new website to ensure it is compliant," Hojer told the Board. Commissioners agreed with the recommendation. Hojer then requested an executive session for personnel; the Board moved into executive session at 8:47 A.M. and returned to open session at 9:00 A.M.
The transcript does not record a vendor selection or cost estimate at this meeting; Hojer said staff will pursue contracting options and return with recommendations. The Board did not take further formal action on procurement during the session.
