Kingsbury County approves claims, payroll and accepts monthly reports

The Kingsbury County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously Feb. 3, 2026 to approve the claims presented and to authorize payroll disbursements for the end of month. The items approved included vendor claims (for example Midway Service fuel at $16,572.60) and end‑of‑month courthouse salaries of $82,417.77 and highway salaries of $33,721.86.
The Board also reviewed and accepted the Register of Deeds, Sheriff and Director of Equalization reports of fees collected during January 2026 and accepted the Auditor's and Treasurer's reports as of the close of business Jan. 30, 2026. The motions to approve claims and accept reports were moved and seconded by Commissioners and carried with "all present voting aye."
