Board approves two sets of business licenses; president abstains on second batch

The Board of Trustees granted business licenses to two batches of local businesses during the March 18 meeting. Trustee Nikki Ball moved to approve a first set of licenses (including 1927 Lodge, Battle Creek Basecamp, Comfort Inn, Dee’z Inn, Keystone Convenience, and others); Trustee Will Parks seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
A second motion (moved by Trustee David Cofoid and seconded by Trustee Ball) approved an additional set of licenses that included Baymont Inn and Suites, Boss’ Pizza & Chicken, Grandma Goodnights, Pine & Peak Co, Ramada Mt Rushmore, Rock Lodge, Svenmar Nightly Rentals, The Front Porch Restaurant and Bar, and The Gold Hill Chalet. Trustees Ball, Cofoid, Fullilove and Parks voted aye; President Casey McNulty abstained and the motion carried.
