Keystone tourism director announces half-marathon date, hires and spring events

Tourism Director Emma Groninger updated the Board of Trustees on upcoming events and promotional work for Keystone. She said the Vacation Races Mt Rushmore Half Marathon is scheduled for Sept. 12, the Visitor Center is actively hiring, and pole banners and a new Keystone map are being printed.
Groninger also noted community events: Ham Bingo will be held March 28 with dinner at 5 p.m. and bingo starting at 6 p.m. The tourism office listed operators and marketing vendors in the packet, and trustees acknowledged the events during the meeting.
