Town Attorney Mitch Johnson said the town will enforce the ordinance under Chapter 10.99 and that violations may carry "a fine of up to $200 per occurrence." The board debated the timing and implementation briefly: Trustee Cofoid suggested waiting a year to observe how a similar change in Custer played out before full enforcement, but the motion to adopt first reading carried despite his objection.
