Planner Zollinger summarized staff findings that the proposal complies with the General Commercial zoning and Frontage Protection Zone conditions, and outlined conditions of approval including a fire permit for the tent, an administrative letter for the food vendor location, a restriction that temporary improvements may be installed no earlier than June 15 and removed by 5:00 a.m. on October 15, and that no more than seven parking spaces on‑site may be used for the temporary stand.
Local farmer Cherry Tagge, owner of Tagge's Famous Fruit and Veggie Farms, said she has operated successful seasonal stands in nearby cities for decades and described her experience selling local produce; she confirmed the proposed location would not serve as the primary CSA pickup site. Commissioner Shand moved to approve based on the findings and conditions in the draft final action letter; Commissioner Frontero seconded and the motion passed by voice vote.
