Administrator Audree Guzman updated the board on administrative operations and facility projects. She said updates for the road maintenance building include plumbing, electrical and HVAC roughed in, garage doors installed, and the office framed; the estimated completion date remains Oct. 31, 2024.
Guzman also said the new fire station will require changes to bond-issuance legislation and that an election on bond issuance will be required; she anticipated legislative action during the 2025 session and said Cook, Flatt and Strobel has submitted required materials to the Corps with formal approval anticipated in December 2024 and engineering and design expected to begin in winter 2025. Finally, she reported that gWorks is importing data and the township anticipates the system will be fully live by January 2025.
