The board approved a purchase not to exceed $153,000 for a new Freightliner-class truck after reviewing specifications; later, in a separate motion, members approved buying 8.1 acres in the SW quarter of Section 20 (Township 10S, Range 16E) for $40,000 to support future maintenance or storage needs. The board also discussed leasing versus buying a sweeper/Broce broom and evaluated used options and six-month lease-credit offers from vendors.
