Monroe Township says updated emergency operations plan approved by county and state reviewers

Lieutenant Sergei Jangles told the Mayor Delina show that Monroe Township has completed an update to its Emergency Operations Plan with annexes covering fire, EMS, DPW, police and shelter operations. "We updated our emergency operation plan for the township... the county OEM review it. Also, the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, it was approved," Jangles said, noting the plan is written to address multiple incident types.
Jangles said the update followed interagency review and that the township uses the plan for drills and for events such as school reunification procedures and large public events. He described regular meetings with school officials and individual reviews with senior-community and long-term care administrators to confirm facility plans and communications.
