Mrs. Adams presented the resignation letter of Mr. James Gilman from Seat 1 (term expires Nov. 2026). The Board accepted the resignation on a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly, with all in favor. Because the seat will be filled by appointment rather than election, the Board directed that Mr. Long and The Meadows’ POA Manager e‑blast residents to publicize the vacancy and candidate qualifications, and asked that interested residents submit a resume or letter of interest prior to the next meeting.
The Board noted administrative follow-up steps for any appointee, including administration of the oath of office, required ethics training, and filing disclosure forms (Form 1 and Form 8B). Mrs. Adams said the vacancy materials will be included on the next meeting agenda for consideration.
