Items listed on the consent agenda included Resolution #2025-53 (Minnesota Lawful Gambling exempt permit for the Park Rapids chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association), wage and step increases for city employees, renewal of multiple 3.2% off‑sale beer licenses, authorization of a revolving loan agreement with PR PR LLC recommended by the EDA and Revolving Loan Fund Committee, authorization for city staff to sign an underwriting engagement letter with Northland Trust for the Central Avenue Street Reconstruction Project, authorization to advertise bids for the Airport Taxilane Reconstruction Project, several public facilities use permits, and payments to vendors (Crafco, Ferguson Waterworks, H & L Mesabi Company, Hawkins, and Hoffman Electric).
Councilmember Joe Christensen moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember Jeremy Engholm seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Many items were routine renewals or administrative authorizations that will allow staff to proceed with procurement, grant compliance, and event permitting.
