At its March 25 meeting, the Park Rapids City Council approved the following motions and resolutions by unanimous vote (Mayor Pat Mikesh was absent):
- Approve payables $44,805.79 and prepaids $103,820.98. - Approve consent agenda items including proclamations, gambling permit approvals, temporary liquor license, loan denial, lease matters, appointments, and vendor payments (see minutes for full list). - Adopt Resolution #2025-68 approving a variance for a dwelling at 14510 Eagle Pointe Drive. - Adopt Resolution #2025-69 authorizing staff to submit a 2025 Outdoor Recreation Grant application for Red Bridge Park improvements. - Adopt Resolution #2025-70 authorizing staff to submit a 2025 Outdoor Recreation Grant application for Lindquist Park playground replacement. - Adopt Resolution #2025-71 authorizing a temporary building official services contract with Township and Range LLC. - Adopt Resolution #2025-72 to approve commercial rehabilitation policies required for the Small Cities Redevelopment Program. - Adopt Resolution #2025-73 approving plans and specifications and ordering delayed advertisement for bids for the Central Avenue CSAH 1 project. - Adopt Resolution #2025-74 approving an LG220 exempt permit for the Armory Arts and Events Center. - Adopt Resolution #2025-75 authorizing submission of a Lead Service Line Grant application to the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (requesting $421,000; application not yet complete).
Motions were moved and seconded by councilmembers and carried by unanimous vote where recorded in the minutes. Final assessments, grant award outcomes, and contract amounts will be determined in later proceedings and hearings.
