At its April 8 meeting the Park Rapids City Council approved the consent agenda, which bundled several routine and administrative items. The motion (moved by Jeremy Engholm and seconded by Joe Christensen) carried unanimously.
Items recorded under the consent agenda include Resolution #2025-76 approving a Lawful Gambling LG220 exempt permit for Heartland Lakes Community School; wage and step increases for Rapids Spirits clerk Tina Jenkins and Public Works street maintenance worker Blake Weleski; award of the 2025 tree bid; authorization to dispose of surplus city property; and vendor payments including $4,968.45 to McDonald Hopkins, $81,400.00 to Sanquist Construction, Inc., and $2,400.00 to Paul Shoemaker. The council also scheduled a public hearing on May 18, 2025 for Ordinance No. 632 to amend the city fee schedule related to airport fees.
