The board approved a traffic‑calming package from My AV‑Tech LLC that includes three permanent 15‑inch solar‑powered speed radar signs with cameras and messaging and a mobile unit with cloud connectivity.
Mr. Willis presented the estimates and options, and Mr. Long urged repositioning the existing mobile unit after it recorded "about 800 varied speeding violations over a three week period." Mr. Long recommended moving the unit 20 to 30 yards and noted a new pole would be required; staff estimated poles would cost about $1,200 each. The package also includes a $1,500 per‑year cloud device fee per unit. On motion by Mr. Schultz, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, and with all in favor, the board approved AV‑Tech Estimates 24150 and 24151 for a combined total of $105,000.
Staff said the HOA may assume ongoing cloud device costs and offset them with covenant traffic fine revenues issued by PSGRC. The board authorized staff to proceed with procurement and coordinate installation with the vendor and PSGRC.
