River Ridge board administers oaths to newly elected supervisors and adopts officer slate

The River Ridge Community Development District administered the Oath of Office to newly elected supervisors Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5) at its Nov. 19 regular meeting.
Mrs. Adams, acting as the notary, completed the oath administration and the board moved immediately to officer elections. "As experienced Board Members, all were familiar with the following," Mrs. Adams said while outlining required ethics training and disclosure filing. On a motion by Mr. Mountford, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, and with all in favor, the board adopted Resolution 2025-02 electing Bob Schultz as Chair, Terry Mountford as Vice Chair and retaining Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill as assistant secretaries.
The board discussed the district's ethics training requirement and the filing of Form 1; Mrs. Adams said, "The ethics training requirement will be added to the Key Activity Dates List." The action formalizes officer roles and places the new supervisors on the board's compliance calendar.
The board did not take additional personnel actions at the meeting. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., unless canceled.
