The commission opened and then closed a public hearing on a proposed city property lease to Lil’s Coffee and approved the lease through Jan. 6, 2026. City Administrator Robin Lucero told the commission that several changes were made to the lease, including that Lil will use power and that the location under lease has changed.
"Lil will be using power, and the location has changed," the minutes quote Robin Lucero as saying during the hearing. The commission carried the motion to approve the lease (M/Thomas, S/Rohrer). The minutes do not record the rent rate or other lease terms; staff will monitor meter readings during the lease term so the city can bill for power used.
