Kimball council holds short special session, approves agenda and adjourns

Council President Bill Gough called the City of Kimball special session to order at 7:14 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2025, and a roll call recorded five council members present: Matt Bilben, Harold Bickner, Michelle Chmela, Dayle Blasius and Bill Gough. Council member Shelly Janish and Mayor Donnie Hamiel were absent; Lydia Morley and Deb Kourt were also listed as present.
The council approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Dayle Blasius, seconded by Matt Bilben, with a unanimous “All aye” vote. After conducting business including a hiring motion, the council approved a motion to adjourn made by Harold Bickner and seconded by Dayle Blasius; the meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
