The North Bonneville City Council handled a bundle of administrative and governance items on Jan. 13, 2026, approving minutes and invoices and several motions affecting city operations.
The council approved the consent agenda, which included the Dec. 23, 2025 meeting minutes and first-half invoices totaling $134,675.74 (motion by Margie Lee, seconded by Taurus Baxter). It approved an interlocal agreement with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office for Search and Rescue services (motion by Joshua Good, seconded by Margie Lee) and removed Brian Sabo as an authorized signer at Columbia Bank (motion by Joshua Good, seconded by Margie Lee). The council also approved a Settlement and Mutual Release; the meetings' minutes record those motions as carried by the voting members present.
The council appointed Harold Cook to Position 2 of the Planning Committee for a term ending Dec. 31, 2027; the motion passed with one recorded 'No' vote by Councilmember Joshua Good. A motion to approve a candidate for the clerk-treasurer position failed and will be moved to the next meeting; the transcript records the motion and second but does not provide a complete roll-call for the failed motion.
