The Kimball City Council adopted Resolution 2025-01, the City of Kimball 2025 Fine and Bond Schedule, at its Jan. 6, 2025 meeting. The resolution incorporates several fee and rate changes the council discussed, including updated water service charges and revised portable meter/fire hydrant rates.
Council members voted unanimously to approve the amended schedule (Motion by Harold Bickner, second by Dayle Blasius). The minutes list the water service rate as a $15.00 base rate; thereafter $6.25 per 1,000 gallons up to 3,000 gallons and $6.87 per 1,000 gallons thereafter. The resolution text included a wide range of fees and charges (parking fines, pet licenses, pool fees, equipment rental rates and the full water/sewer fee schedule) and was attested by Mayor Donnie Hamiel and Finance Officer Lydia Morley. The resolution was approved Jan. 6, 2025 and published Jan. 15, 2025.
