Cramer Children’s Advocacy Center asks Franklin County for larger FY27 appropriation; benefits vendor offers employee plans

Chelsea Lawson, representing the Cramer Children's Advocacy Center, addressed the commission during public comments to thank the board for an increase in FY26 funding and to request the county increase its FY27 allocation from $3,500 to $5,000. Lawson summarized the Center’s work over the past year and asked the commission to consider the larger appropriation during the upcoming budget process.
Also during public comments, Brie Zumbado of Signature Benefits asked for an opportunity to provide insurance to county employees. Zumbado said her company "offers a variety of plans" and told the commission she would forward a detailed list of benefits to County Administrator Leah Mansell for review. Chairman Barry Moore thanked both speakers and reminded department heads that budget packets had been distributed for FY27 planning.
