The Superintendent told the board the district has a levy scheduled for February and that district leaders have been meeting with community groups to share consistent information about what the levy would cover. "We have a levy coming up in February," she said, and named recent outreach stops including Rotary and DPAC, plus meetings with retirees and an ombudsman session planned for the following night.
She said she and district colleagues (identified in remarks as Dwight and Patrick) are visiting schools and community groups to provide consistent information to families about the levy’s purpose. The superintendent also said the district will substitute a condensed video state-of-the-schools and newsletter communications this year in lieu of an in-person state-of-schools event because of budget and staffing constraints.
