The Oak Harbor School District board convened the Nov. 25 meeting; the presiding Chair led the pledge of allegiance and completed roll call, noting Director Oz was excused. After the agenda packet was confirmed distributed, the Chair said, "If there are no objections, the agenda will be approved by unanimous consent." The Chair then declared the agenda approved.
During the consent portion of the meeting a board member moved "to approve the consent agenda," the motion was seconded and the Chair called for aye votes. The Chair announced, "The motion carries. The consent agenda is adopted as published." No individual roll-call tallies were read aloud; participants in attendance were recorded as present except for the excused director.
