Town Administrator Nicola Shipman updated the Selectboard on several administrative items. She said Shawn Nailor will conduct an in‑person cybersecurity assessment mid‑July; following that assessment the Town will be eligible to participate in a State‑managed SLCGP grant for cybersecurity hardening. Shipman also briefed the board on recent state law changes to the Forest Fire Regulations that make the Fire Chief the default Fire Warden.
Shipman reported that Skip Lisle installed a float device on Chapel Hill Road at Culvert #4 and that it is functioning as intended. She added that she and Highway Supervisor Allen Wight prepared and submitted a Municipal Sign Package grant application on behalf of the Town; the program is described in the minutes as a 100% funded grant specific to highway safety for signs and work‑zone equipment.
