Treasurer Deb Jones reported that the Town's June 2026 financial statements show a stable fiscal position and that spending and revenue trends are tracking favorably against the adopted budget. Jones advised the Selectboard to monitor the General Fund balance when preparing future budgets.
Jones also reviewed the contracted Windsor County Sheriff's Department hours: the contract covered 1,040 hours for 2025–2026, but the department provided 1,001.5 hours and billed the Town $75,112.50. The Town was not charged for 38.5 unfulfilled hours, and the Sheriff's Department budget line is expected to finish the year under budget.
