The Washington Planning Commission voted on Aug. 29, 2024 to approve revisions to the Town Plan, formalizing the edits discussed at the meeting. The motion to approve the plan was made by Commissioner Ryan Bresette and seconded by Commissioner Robert Farnham; the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners noted that Kara Williams had completed most of the changes to the draft but that a few minor edits and formatting remained. Commissioner Jack Peterson volunteered to incorporate the remaining changes and handle required formatting before the plan proceeds to public review. The commission scheduled a public hearing on the updated Town Plan for Oct. 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
