Fred Blanchard told the commission the plan calls for 45 markers to identify where individual graves are buried at Caswell and 20 markers for Maple Hill, plus corner and section markers as needed; surveyor Jason Riley is slated to stamp the marker caps. Fred said he will order granite corner markers for South Washington and coordinate stamping with Jason.
Bill Durbrow discussed using the Chronicle software (basic version) to map the town cemeteries and outlined version pricing and cemetery limits; Fred will complete data entry for South Washington in Chronicle and then evaluate adding additional cemeteries into the system. Commissioners discussed marker counts and the need to verify exact marker needs against a reviewed cemetery map before placing orders.
