Council approves junior city council application, LGC proposal ($1,200) and tires purchase (up to $1,400)

Mayor Pro-Tem Corky Massey moved and the council unanimously approved the Argo Junior City Council application. Councilperson Rick Hopkins will prepare the Park Board application and bylaws for future presentation, and Councilperson Dennis Griffin was asked to research a Business Alliance and report back. The City Attorney was directed to update the Margaret Sewer franchise agreement so the city may begin collecting franchise fees.
The council also approved a $1,200 LGC proposal to be paid from the General Fund and a motion by Councilperson Dennis Griffin to purchase tires for a 2015 Ford F-350 not to exceed $1,400 from the 0.02 Cent Account (the tire motion was seconded by Councilperson Rick Hopkins). All recorded roll-call votes were unanimous in favor. No public comments were recorded on these items.
