Board approves Covered Bridge flags and agrees to Town Hall sign refurbish

The Vermont Covered Bridge Society will supply Betsy Ross 250th Celebration flags and hardware for the town’s covered bridges at no cost; the Select Board also recorded that Brian Towle will refurbish the Town Hall sign and named Hunter Locke the Tree Warden.
At the April 27 meeting the Waterville Select Board recorded that the Vermont Covered Bridge Society requested permission to hang Betsy Ross America’s 250th Celebration flags on each of the town's covered bridges and that the society will provide flags and hardware at no cost to the town. The minutes show the board agreed to the request.
The minutes also record that Brian Towle will refurbish the Town Hall sign and that Hunter Locke is the town’s Tree Warden. The record does not include costs for the sign work or a schedule for flag installation.
