Commission to coordinate input on Planning Commission’s mixed-use changes; joint meeting set for Feb. 19

The commission discussed proposed changes at the Planning Commission, which are expected to allow mixed use in most districts except for certain shoreline areas and revise what is conditional versus allowed in rural districts. The minutes record: "mixed use will be allowed in all places except for some shoreline." Claudia Mucklow said she will email commission members the relevant packet materials (the third document from the last PC packet) for review.
To coordinate formal input, the commission scheduled a joint meeting with the Planning Commission and the Development Review Board for Feb. 19. A motion that commission members Claudia Mucklow and Maggie Citarella would talk with the Planning Commission about the CCC’s input was made, seconded and approved. Charlie Pugh also announced he is stepping down from the Planning Commission, a change that may affect scheduling and continuity.
