The Charlotte Conservation Commission voted to make Claudia Mucklow chair at its Feb. 25, 2025 meeting. A motion to replace the interim chair with Claudia was made, seconded and approved.
Members also noted the commission currently has two openings and solicited suggestions for candidates, including people who work at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources or UVM Extension. The group discussed whether a town staff member could provide administrative support for meeting management and packet preparation; one member said the matter is "on Nate's radar." The commission agreed to keep recruiting ideas active.
The meeting record shows the commission approved the January minutes earlier in the agenda and confirmed DRB review assignments for members. The commission set its next meeting for March 25 and adjourned following the chair appointment and routine business.
