Members discussed public feedback strategies and set an objective to deploy a late-summer survey that would solicit resident views about Town Meeting process options. The group agreed to partner with parent–teacher organizations and other local groups to encourage wide participation, and to hold multiple public outreach events in the fall, including a larger public meeting to present draft recommendations.
The committee framed these outreach activities as essential to informing the July–September drafting window. Members also discussed improving materials such as a 'Guide to Town Meeting' to help residents understand how to participate and how special articles are handled at Town Meeting.
