The Planning Board scheduled a public hearing for a regrading application at 64 Stewart Road after reviewing materials submitted in response to a notice of violation. Engineering staff reported the on-site disturbance is roughly 1,600 square feet, below the New York State DEC threshold that would require a stormwater pollution-prevention plan; however, the board said required plan information — including runoff assessment, well locations, and site contours — was missing.
Contractor Constantine Bonis, who said he was hired after the violation, described the work as bringing in topsoil to fill holes in a backyard so children could play; he said the soil came from Metro Green in Yonkers and that certifications had been provided. The board asked the applicant to update drawings to reflect the existing and proposed slopes and to submit any missing certifications; a motion to schedule a public hearing passed on voice vote.
