Council restores 'vehicle' language to zoning use tables
Summary
Midvale planning staff said the word 'vehicle' was accidentally removed from several use tables; the council approved Ordinance No. 2026-O-09 to reinstate the text as a clerical correction to Sections 17-7-7.2, 17-7-12.2 and 17-7-13.2.
Planner Elizabeth Arnold explained that prior edits removed the word "vehicle" from several use entries in the SSC, RC and CI zones. Staff characterized the change as a clerical error and recommended restoring the original wording. "This amendment will add it back in," Arnold said.
Council opened and closed the public comment period with no speakers and approved Ordinance No. 2026-O-09 by roll call vote; the finding in the staff report was adopted and the code will be corrected accordingly. Council members did not request additional study or amendments to the text.
