Property owner and neighbor letters back Sprouts proposal; cases head to City Council Aug. 10
Summary

Robin, the staff member presenting the cases, read two letters submitted in support after packets were distributed. One letter came from the operator of an adjacent property identified in the record as Racetrack Petroleum, which said it supports the proposed Sprouts development and asked the commission to recommend approval of the five variance cases. The other letter was from the property owner, Brightstone Lending; Robin read the owner's explanation that the parcel was annexed for commercial development and that rights-of-way changes left the parcel irregularly shaped, creating a hardship. Robin concluded by identifying the letter author and contact information: “And that was Samuel Cordos, Brightstone Lending, 1147 Tranquil Brook Drive, Naples, Florida.”
Robin reminded commissioners that the cases will come before the Loganville City Council for a second public hearing on Aug. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers and that the council will vote on Aug. 13. The commission then moved, seconded and adjourned the meeting.
