Finance committee nominates Ed Bean as vice chair

Brian Cusack moved to nominate Ed Bean and Dennis Hogan seconded. "Can I have a motion to nominate Ed Bean as the vice chair of the FinCom?" Boodray asked before the vote. The committee approved the motion by voice and agreed to forward Bean's name to the full board for consideration.
Boodray had earlier told members that Chairman Jim Sullivan had solicited interest by email on June 19 and that no timely responses were received to the requested deadline; Bean's interest arrived after that date. The committee did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript; members used a voice vote.
Next steps: Cusack will prepare minutes and Boodray said he will share the minutes with Chairman Sullivan and coordinate how the nomination is presented to the full board.
