Chair Kessler closed the session by saying the committee would "absorb the information today, take a look at it" and reconvene for a vote at a later date. He noted members received packets and a side-by-side comparison prepared by staff and that Jason would walk through the options when the committee returns to the matter. "I do wanna remind everybody that when we do vote, we do we can't vote unless we have at least 4 from the house and 4 from the senate," Kessler said.
The chair also noted written testimony had been submitted by Kayla Loomis, executive director of the Kansas State Gaming Agency, and that members should consult the provided materials. With no further comments, Kessler adjourned the meeting.
