Dr. Goff welcomed graduates, families and community partners to the Technical College of the Lowcountry commencement, calling the ceremony "a launching point for what comes next." "Welcome to the Technical College of the Lowcountry commencement ceremony," the college president said in opening remarks.
The program featured a presentation of the 2025 presidential medallion, a student address from dual-enrollment student Karen Huerta and a keynote by state Representative Shannon Erickson. Randy Dalenik, chairman of the college governing board, framed the gathering as recognition of perseverance for many students who balanced jobs and family obligations to complete credentials.
Degrees and certificates were conferred by college officials and a long roll call of individual graduate names followed. The ceremony closed with the alma mater and a benediction. The college encouraged graduates to remain engaged as alumni and applauded faculty and donors for their support of workforce and academic programs.
