Crews prioritized repairing downed wires and clearing damaged and fallen trees and branches, Andrew said. He noted the department has approximately 120 employees whose responsibilities include sanitation, parks upkeep, streets and general township infrastructure.
Cindy Munono Danre, the director of public works for Upper Darby Township, added, "I wanna pass along how proud I am to the men and women of the department who work hard on a daily basis no matter what the condition is."
