The council approved its consent agenda on a single voice vote. Items carried in the consent included approval of minutes and claims, a variance request for 3900 Kings Point Road, an interim-use-permit amendment and a conditional-use permit at 6900 County Road 110 West, and the authorization to publish Ordinance No. 507 (a tobacco ordinance) by title and summary.
Other items approved on consent included acceptance of a county grant for night-vision equipment and approval of a maintenance agreement for trees in the right-of-way at 1295 Preserve Boulevard. Mayor Lisa Whelan called for the vote and the chair recorded the motion as passing 4-0.
